So there aren't amazingly good free options, at least any I can think of. There is the "self-supported" plan which we could try out which is $99 install fee + $10/month (for the digital ocean droplet).

We don't strictly need this "for launch" but we do need a plan for something in this vein, even just a mailing list on Google Groups or something soon-ish.

Yes! If you are legally recognized as an educational institution we offer an 85% discount. If you are legally recognized as a non-profit organization, we offer a 50% discount. These discounts apply only to our standard and business plans, and must be paid through a debit/credit card monthly or annually. Please contact us after starting your trial and we’ll add the discount to your account.
