Tips for Gamers

If you're starting off in the pack, consider the following advice:

• 3 nuggets per ore seems rough, but a 1/1 ore to ingot processing option involving the Create Millstone and the Tinkers' Melter (not smeltery) is surprisingly easy to get early on!

• Looting abandoned structures around you will leave you with a significant amount of Treasure.

• Use the Currency system to your advantage. Earn coins, get a profession early, get a Trading Station from the Shipments tab- and you'll be able to just buy any mineral you need.

• Redstone Ore cannot be found underground. Obtain redstone by crushing or milling Cinnabar.

• If any task becomes repetitive, find a way to automate it!

• If you miss having brass equipment for filtering items early on; don't forget that you can still technically craft brass machines semi-manually before anything else is automated.
