I use my todo.txt file with the android application. If I complete a task on my phone and then list it in todo.py it shows up with the propper X in front of the line. I don't see a way to archive this with todo.py.

That's right. The 'archive' command has not been implemented.

Also, at the moment, we don't keep finished tasks in the file. The logic kind of does "archive" by default.

If you delete completed tasks instead of marking them 'x' you do not comply to the specs and shouldn't this repo be stated as a port. Or do you have a different opinion?

@robertvanbregt I didn't add it to the list of ports and there were no specs when I made it. Please note that this repository hasn't been touched in 3 years either.
