Libre Office Writer not showing up

What can be the reason for Libre Office Writer not to show up in the top panel?

Hi people,

In Canaima GNU/Linux[1] we have integrated this plugin to our default desktop enviroment to help people migrate from gnome2 to gnome3.

In this time we have recived bugs reports about this problem with LibreOffice [2]... Trying to find out more information about it i've noticed that it happens when we open a file directly from Nautilus, but when LibreOffice is opened from the menu the error not occurs.

We are very interested in solve this bug, so if you need more information about we can try to recollect it or send some patches.

Any useful information is welcome.

Our packages versions:

• Plugin: 4 (From metadata.json)
• Gnome: 3.4.2 (Wheezy)
• LibreOffice: 4.0.1(Sid)

I am having the same problem with KDevelop (v4.12.5) not appearing in the list
