What is the current behavior?
Package cannot be installed to .NET projects (notably MAUI)

If the current behavior is a bug, please provide the steps to reproduce and if possible a minimal demo of the problem

What is the expected behavior?
Package installs without issue

What is the motivation / use case for changing the behavior?
.NET 7 launched and the Serilog package now supports .NET 7

Which versions of Serilog, and which platform / OS are affected by this issue? Did this work in previous versions of Serilog?

We are using this package in a .NET MAUI (previously .NET 7, now .NET 8) application without any issues.
What error do you get?

Thanks for this; in light of Xamarin being EOL'd, no further work is planned here, so I'm closing open issues in preparation for archiving it in the near future.
