how do i configure my snap installed semaphore?

Hi, I read the doc, and tried, created the config.json. This was done manually, after i installed the snap - semaphore. I took note of the /root/snap/semaphore/common/config.json cannot be manually overwriten. Which during my manual setup, i configured the postgres db, telegram and openid github information which the config file can be found at /root/snap/semaphore/.../.config/config.json. Whenever i rty to overwrite the file, as soon as i restart the systems service , the new config file will be gone. The default is using the boltdb and do not come with openid github login etc. Please advise how can i make changes ? Thanks.
