On iOS 11 you can enable video screen recording to record apps on the iPad. If microphone input is enabled while trying to record playback of a ScratchJr project with sounds, the video recording stops having any sound when the first sound plays. Prior to the first sound, ScratchJr sound effects (e.g. the pop of attaching blocks) are heard.

Steps to reproduce

  1. Create a project that includes a recorded sound
  2. Enable and start video recording the project
  3. Play the project, and activate the sound if necessary
  4. Stop recording to save the video to the iPad photos app

Is this still an issue on iOS 12+?
