In some circumstances, usually after shrinking the Safari window such that the extension menu gets pushed onto the toolbar overflow menu, items on the RSS menu will no longer respond to clicks. I've spent a long time trying to track this one down, but I think there's a fairly high chance it's actually a Safari but. I've opened a Radar issue (29744433) with Apple to see if they agree.
Workarounds are to restart Safari, or to to disable, then re-enable the extension.
