Idea; MIDI support?

Heyo, I just came across this project and would love to help designing applications for this and I think a really good one would be for MIDI controls on say a lighting controller for DMX where multiple controls often have to act as different objects at a single time. I have more CAD experience than the programming side but I’d love to make a concept design and see if we can be a sam32 chip to talk to multiple different smart knobs in like a 1x4 configuration. Potentially also making this a python controllable device could open up more controller hardware at least from my current understanding of things. Anyways super cool concept and I can’t wait to see where this goes!
