The recently merged update of the pypi-publish action to 1.10 not supports PEP740 attestations for releases. The feature is still in development. But we should eventually adopt it. It seems to only require a small change in the workflow: https://github.com/marketplace/actions/pypi-publish#generating-and-uploading-attestations
