Small fixes release
This release is a small fixes release. It fixes the following:
- error when user is not part of a team
- the troubles when importing the protocol with attachments

New Task status flow
We upgraded the current “Complete task” button and introduced new Task status flow to allow you to track the status of your Tasks more precisely.
Smart annotation improvements
In addition to the updated styling of the Smart annotation flyout (opening with # for SciNote objects, or @ for SciNote users), we now display a list of 10 suggestions (instead of the current 5). Importantly, we also improved search functionality with “AND” operation when multiple search words are entered to make your search easier.

- Archiving of the inventories and inventory items: you can now archive the entire inventory or just individual items to clean up your inventories, while still keeping the data accessible.
Other small improvements and bug fixes:
Improved reporting of the inventory items assigned on tasks in the Reports.
Improved interaction after editing the inventory items.
Smart annotation functionality now recognizes “:” and “/” as part of the referenced object name.

Updated task screen and Assigned items section
What are the task improvements?
Besides the visual improvements we added some new functionalities:
- You can now set-up the task start date.
- The user assigned to the task now appears on the task screen with his/her avatar.
- Assigned items now appear directly on the task as a new section.
- You can make a snapshot of the assigned items at any desired moment to keep the record of their state at the moment of snapshot creation.
- You can switch between the live version of the assigned items or the snapshot and set the preferred version as the default view on the task for each individual inventory.
- The Protocol section on task has now a cleaner look: the previous buttons (Load Protocol, Export Protocol, Copy to Protocol Repository) are now included in the Protocol options dropdown menu.
- The information of the linked Protocol from the Repository and the action buttons are now displayed in a modal when clicking on the “info” icon by the linked protocol name.
Other small improvements and bug fixes:
- Improved screen size responsiveness for mobile devices.
- Fixed importing of inventory items with the column(s) including decimal numbers.
Scinote core 1.18.0
Rebranding & restyling
With this release, SciNote has gone through some rebranding and restyling to become visually even more appealing and pleasurable to use. The release also includes several Inventories improvements and the integration with the Gilson’s PipettePilot app.
Inventories improvements
Inventories now offer even more to our users: new column types and improved column management. In addition to the current column type options, you will now be able to set a date from the calendar, set the time or the date/time-range, set up a checklist and set an item status with an icon from emoji library for a quick visual impact
SciNote Core 1.17.5
New features
With this release we enriched SciNote with new avatar images!
Instead of uploading your own profile photo, you now have an option to select a predefined image that you would like to use for your avatar. These have been designed in a way to reflect your role in the team, but you can also choose one according to your preferences.
