I ran into an issue where the datetime object being returned by the feedback function is not a standard python datetime.
It appears that the object is actually a DateTime object declared in the xmlrpc module.
I discovered this by checking the results of dir() on the returned DateTime object, which game me this:
['cmp', 'doc', 'eq', 'ge', 'gt', 'init', 'le', 'lt', 'module', 'ne', 'repr', 'str', 'decode', 'encode', 'make_comparable', 'timetuple', 'value']
