Plotting takes twice as long as expected

For a CONST_TIME_INTERVAL of 10 seconds, the plotting in Windows seems to take twice as long as can be seen in the Windows image:

I suspect this is due to a delay in the command line calls in Windows - but it could come from somewhere else.
