Hey are you still looking for someone to do this? |
@alexshook We are! Are you interested? |
@leesharma yes, definitely! How do I claim it? |
You just did. 🙂 |
@alexshook Hey, how's the issue coming? Any questions/comments/blockers I can help with? |
@leesharma I started it a bit but haven't been able to devote much time-- busy work week. Should have a pull request for you on Sunday! |
@leesharma hey I have a question-- I see that there's a log in but no sign up option, did you want a button for sign up as well as the one to continue as a guest? |
@leesharma additionally, will we always create users by the amazon auth hash, or will straight email sign ups also be available? |
The initial idea of anonymous pledges was to have them act like guest shopping cart items–they'd be attached to the session and, if the user creates an account, they'd attach to the account. Here's a possible approach: Railscast #393: Guest User Record.
That got delayed in the interest of shipping asap, but it's still a good plan.
