I believe the STL & PDF files are corrupted. I am unable to open them in multiple viewers & CAD programs or for that matter slicing apps. Please advise of an alternate source or update to this repository.

Hi,

We have tested downloading the STL files and opening them (using Netfabb
Studio basic which is the free version) as well as 'slicing' them using
Cura, Skeinforge 41 and Slic3r 0.9.2 and found no problems. All three
computers that we tried this on are running Windows 7,but I think the files
should be able to be opened in other OSes as well. We have had several
others who have downloaded and used the files successfully without any
issue (some of our past Durbie V1 customers who wish to print their own
upgrades to V2).

The files on our Github are the exact copies of the actual STLs & SKP
(sketchup) files that we use ourselves. Maybe you can try downloading the
zip copy of the repo by clicking the link below - this is the 'Download
repository as zip file' button that looks like a cloud and the word ZIP
beside it that can be found on the top of the repo page. Extract the
contents of the zip file before using the files.

As for the assembly instructions, click on the link below to download the
PDF file - this is from the Downloads section of the DurbieV2 repo. The
file has been downloaded more than 500 times and used by all our customers
without problems so far, it should not be corrupted.

Let me know if you have further problems, I can send the files directly to
you via email.

Regards,
Md Noh

Thanks, These STL files in the zip work fine. I am concerned the individual
ones on github are faulty though. I downloaded from home and work (win7)
with the same result. I gave the file to our 3d guy and MAX could not open
them.

If you are confident all is ok I will leave it at that.... Thanks
