● Selects which corner of the grid will be origin - XBEACH requires the origin to be on the
offshore boundary with coast at 90 degrees on the right hand side of the offshore boundary
(see next slide):
○ Identifies offshore boundary using bathymetry and selects origin
○ Adjusts user defined rotation angle to match selected origin
○ Adjusts bathymetry data structures to match selected origin
