Hi
I'm running Squeezelite on my Raspberry Pi. I'm running OSMC which has a linux
(Debian I believe) base. I've installed Squeezelite via "sudo apt-get install
squeezelite" and I then replaced the binary 'squeezelite' in /usr/bin with the
recommended one from the front page
'http://squeezelite-downloads.googlecode.com/git/squeezelite-armv6hf'
I changed the file name to just 'sqeezelite' and gave it 755 permissions (which
the auto apt-get install version of squeezelite had).
It works great with my LMS and Android controller. This may be a cosmetic thing
but looking at the source code change log - the latest version is 1.8 from Feb
2015? When I run 'squeezelite -?' on my Pi the first line says that it's v1.7:
osmc@osmc:~$ squeezelite -?
Squeezelite v1.7, Copyright 2012-2015 Adrian Smith. See -t for license terms
Can someone let me know what the latest version is? Is it 1.8? If so can the
binaries on the front page be updated? Or is this just a cosmetic error when
running 'squeezelite -?'
Thanks,
Si
