Hi Triode,

thanks for your wonderful program!
I've been using it for the last two years on 4 RasPis and a varying number of
linux i686 notebooks concurrently in a multi room setup without any problems;
really great!

Two of those RasPis are on OpenELEC (the other on Arch), and recently got
updated to OpenELEC 5. OE 5 changes it's policy to compile everything
statically. So while until now we could just stick in the squeezelite arm6-hf
binary and had it working instantly, this does sadly not apply anymore.

Would you deem it possible to compile a static build for squeezelite-downloads
as well? I guess this would help a growing number of people.
Personally, I tried but did not succeed in compiling a static version on
Raspi-Arch.

Thanks for considering!

Sorry I don't distribute binaries which have the codec libraries included as
they may be subject to license restrictions.

Ah, I see, no problem.

Do you perhaps have some small hints regarding how to do a static compilation
oneself? I read somewhere that one needs static libraries for this, but do not
know if that is correct and how to get those...
