RSS Episode Chronology

Hi Matt,

Not sure whether to call this as a bug or an enhancement!

I have a problem with the chronology of episodes in an RSS feeds I follow. If you look at the dates of the entries in this feed, you will see that the latest episodes are at the bottom. At the moment Radio Downloader is not downloading the latest episode, as it's not at the top of the list. https://podcasts.whro.org/birdnotes/audio/podcast.xml

This started in 2019, and I've contacted the provider a few times, but they've yet to correct the feed.

Is there any way you could sort the entries in Radio Downloader by their date, rather than the order they appear in the feed?

That's an interesting one... I think it is probably a bug rather than enhancement as I don't think it's set in stone that feeds must be sorted with the most recent episode first, rather that it's convention for them to be.

Yes, it should be possible to sort the feed by publication date before returning the list of available IDs.
