After update to 20241108 LCDCHAR via I2C does not work anymore

My OLD lcdchar.conf looks like this:

inf=i2c
cols=20
charmap=A00
address=39
chip=PCF8574
backlight=

The NEW one (after update to 20241108):

0=
1=20
2=A00
3=39
4=PCF8574

Was this intentional? Or is it regression error?

After replacing the new one with the old one it works again.

UPDATE 20241210: AND after updating to 20241208 the SAME happens again... this is the lcdchar.conf after the update:

After copying my old lcdchar.conf it works again.
