i get the same issue, renaming the file bypasses the issue, and the next error is from libgcc_s.so.1 ./hlds_linux: ./libgcc_s.so.1: version 'GCC_7.0.0' not found (required by /lib/i386-linux-gnu/libstdc++.so.6)
renaming that file bypasses that issue, and then it kinda works
