How to disable surround and enable it if needed?

I don't want that black oval (at the end of the right side) all the time even if none of the component have anything to report. How to achive that? I am using this plugin for around 2 years now. And it's bugging me for a long time.

This is my config line

local Extras = { utils.surround({ "", "" }, "bright_bg", { Diagnostics, Whitespaces, Space, MixedIndent, MacroRec }) }

I've used bellow Ideas, which didn't work.

local Extras = { Diagnostics, Whitespaces, Space, MixedIndent, MacroRec }
