Benefit to RChain
This project demonstrates how an alternative economic model can be implemented using RChain and Rholang.
Background
The labor theory of property is described by economist and computer scientist Dr. David Ellerman. This bounty is to develop an implementation of a system of these properties as digital assets including their ownership, trade, and aggregation into firms. See: http://www.ellerman.org/on-property-theory/
Objective
Design and implement Rholang terms and processes
○ Data structure for a labor-property
○ Personal operations on labor-properties (create, hold, trade, destroy)
○ Aggregate operations of labor-properties (incorporate, compensate)
UI
Copy a UI used for some other dApp and modify it for the operations on labor-properties.
Estimated Budget
$3,000 for a small sample dApp.
Approximately $20,000,000 to build a real solution for real people.
Estimated Timeline Required to Complete the Task
For a sample dApp, somewhere between 1 and 4 weeks.
For a real solution, 2 years and 100 contributors.
How will we measure completion?
dApp runs with users able to perform the operations listed above.
For real solution, significant number of humans freed from a fraudulent misappropriation of their rightful property.
See CONTRIBUTING.md for details on budget and reward process.
Legal
Task Submitter shall not submit Tasks that will involve RHOC being transacted in any manner that (i) jeopardizes RHOC’s status as a software access token or other relevant and applicable description of the RHOC as an “asset”—not a security— or (2) violates, in any manner, applicable U.S. Securities laws.
