Volunteers solicited to tackle integration of usearch into QIIME. I'm guessing this will be straightforward by staring from the VSEARCH modules. If you'd like to take this on, please reply below.

usearch should be soon in Bioconda

new releases should trigger the bot to automatically get the updated version available to bioconda as well

Hi, @rcedgar
We’ve previously worked on a plug-in (q2-usearch) for usearch11, which wraps the zOTU and OTU picking pipeline. We’re excited to release the plug-in to the community once we finalize the tutorial documentation in a few days.

We've finished preparing the first draft of the tutorial. We are planning to add more functions to the plug-in and to provide long term support for the community😊
