Support removing entries from the structures and properly purging them.

This is going to be quite difficult, unless we store the seq number in the structure...

Purging for maps is implemented in 05b5538

Purging for maps is now disabled by default as of 4bfd647 and a new purge:"true" tag was added to activate it.
