I am currently working on a school project that involves modifying the firmware for a DLINK-2750B D1 router. I have been using the Firmware Mod Kit for this purpose.
Here are the steps I have taken:
I used the extract-firmware.sh script to extract the original firmware from the router.
I made the necessary modifications to the extracted firmware.
I used the build-firmware.sh script to rebuild the modified firmware.
When I attempted to upload the modified firmware to the router, I encountered an error stating "Firmware version incorrect."
It's worth mentioning that the original firmware worked without any issues. However, after modification and rebuilding, I'm unable to upload the firmware successfully due to this error.
I would appreciate any assistance or guidance on how to resolve this issue. If there are any specific steps I should follow or additional information I should provide, please let me know.
Thank you for your help.
