Android Studio templates are getting an overhaul now-ish, and right now they're in a weird state where the old system is broken in current versions, but the new system doesn't have a public API yet. I'll definitely update the templates when the new system's ready for public use.

In the meantime, this installation method, placing the template directly in the install folder should still work with AS4: https://github.com/rainbowcake/rainbowcake-templates#old-deprecated-manual-installation-method
