Is there an easy way to load a list of .fits files to get the continuum calculation across multiple spws?

As mentioned here: https://github.com/radio-astro-tools/statcont#determining-the-spectral-index-from-multiple-input-files

As far as I can tell, the list.txt wants .dat files not .fits.
