Starting up zombie gang

Hi everyone,

I'm doing a research on DDoS for school and stumbled upon this.

I'm stuck on this part and would like some help.

1. sudo php -S 127.0.0.1:8080 -> when I browse to it, it gives me a 404 and on the terminal I get this:

2. When I run run.py, it doesn't succeed at creating the user. I believe this has to do with the $host variable I was to change in /api/config/database.php or the core.php cc url. I am a bit confused about what values to put there. For the host I put "localhost" and for the cc url: "http://localhost:8080/api".

Could someone help me out, please?

Regarding the first bullet, I think is the normal behavior,try to access /api instead of / .

About the second issue, you only need to change the config in database.php if the database is running in a different server than the CC. If they are in the same one, localhost there is OK.

Seeing the last screenshot, maybe the issue is in the zombie config (zombie-client/app/config.py), you need to edit the CC URL to include the port (8080).

I tried it, but no progress still.

Bullet 1:

I left the localhost in /config/databse.php

Bullet 2:

I put the address for interface 2 in the cc_url but it still didn't work.

Do you have other ideas/suggestions?

1. You are running php from the cc-server directory, right?

2. You need to specify the port too (example: http://127.0.0.1:8080/api)

1. Yes, I am running it from the cc-server directory.
   Mozilla firefox:

The command:

1. If you are running it from the cc-server dir, everything is fine, don't worry about it.

2. It doesn't matter which IP you use, as long as is reachable from the zombies and master clients.
