## Cold Open

Welcome all to "Run! For Runtime (powered by Al Gore-rithm)". Today Shoaib is your researcher. He is going to run a job. And we are going to help him do it.

Shoaib, start the job

jobs starts, tasks are completed, we get to the end

The Why?

We made "Run! For Runtime" to explore the disconnect between people who compute things (in particular, high resource users in research who are increasingly nudged towards using generative AI for simple tasks) and the resources used to enable that compute, whether those resources are materials, humans, energetics, or water.

The game uses bait-and-switch mechanics, embodied interactions, and snark/sark to educate communities of users. It includes instructions for facilitators so it can be embedded in and adapted for a variety of pedagogical settings.

The how

FIXME cut/paste from readme https://github.com/quirksahern/Runtime/blob/main/README.md

Next Steps

FIXME agree from #1
