[Bug] Nether Ruby Pickaxe

What happened?

I'm not sure if this bug's been reported yet, so my apologies if it has. When putting the two nether reed and 3 nether rubies in a crafting table, as soon as i put the third ruby (no matter which top position) it kicks me from my singleplayer world, with the error, "Connection Lost. Internal Exception: io.netty.handler.codec.EncoderException: Failed to encode packet 'serverbound/minecraft:container_click.'" I can put the three rubies, and then a nether reed, but the 2nd nether reed gives the same error. It also doesnt craft it since it crashes as soon as i put the 5th ingredient. (Also I'm using 1.21.1 MC but the max for dropdown menu was 1.20.4)
