Hi folks, I think 1.6.21 is back to being stable enough for y'all to use. It's still a prerelease, but your experience with it should be about the same as with all of Quarto's prereleases. Thanks again for your patience! |

👋! If you're the kind of motivated user that always installs the very latest prerelease of Quarto (and if you're reading this, chances are you might be), I wanted to give you a bit of a heads up.
We're currently dealing with a slightly nastier upgrade of one of our dependencies and I'm concerned it might cause the next few builds to be less stable than we usually offer.
If you're willing to try them and revert an install if it goes bad, then we really would love your input.
But if you don't want to deal with an installation that will have some chance of being pretty borked, then I'd recommend you hold off on 1.6 prereleases until I unpin this message.
1.6.18 is the current release and that should not be affected. This announcement concerns 1.6.19 and later, until I update you all.
We expect this to be fixed in about a week. Thanks for your patience, for using Quarto, and for being part of the community!
