can't connect to Privado

Please excuse me if something is wrong, this is my first time here.
I'm trying to connect to PrivadoVPN and nothing comes up.
My stack for Portainer:

Hey sorry for the mega long delay answering!

Do your credentials contain any strange symbols/characters?
As it states AUTH: Received control message: AUTH_FAILED and Your credentials might be wrong 🤨 are likely the cause.

To double check your credentials are correct, install openvpn on another machine and try connecting using their OpenVPN config file for hostname dub-004.vpn.privado.io (Ireland, Dublin) and see if it works?

I have also this Problem, and i think i have an answer.
I uses the FREE - Account. But with the Free-Account there are only 12 Servers you can use.
I tried it with Windows and get some names:
Netherland: ams-101.vpn.privado.io - 91.148.228.93
Swizerland: zrh-101.vpn.privado.io

These Servers are NOT in the "servers.json" file from Gluetun !
So there cant be a "FREE" connection.

Can you appy these Free Servers to the config ?

Was this ever resolved? I'm running into the same issue. @qdm12 the credentials for Privado actually require those special characters ( !#$%&?@ ), so it's impossible to create a password without them.

i had this same issue. My password had special characters, I changed it to remove those and now it works. As of now, privado doesn't require special characters.
