We have discussed it would be really good to start thinking of vignettes that bring together functionality from federated packages. The idea, partly, being that these could be used in short training events (up to 4h) and would showcase several bits of functionality in PySAL, plus would point to "further resources" elsewhere to dive deeper into each bit.

I'm opening this issue to track suggestions that we can sketch, refine and prioritize before we start producing them. The idea would be that the notebooks eventually live on this repo as well and are served on the notebooks page.
