i want to dele an account from pypi.org but everty time i try to remove the account i get:
403 error

Sorry, something went wrong
PyPI is down for maintenance or is having an outage.

This is affecting several of our services, including our web interface.
If you are trying to install a package, you should be able to pip install packages without problem.

Hi @SoulRaven, can you confirm that this is still affecting you? It sounds like this may have been a short-term or temporary hiccup in PyPI's backend.

Hi @woodruffw,

I have experienced the same issue for weeks now, but with test.pypi.org. I am able to confirm to delete the account

delete-account-pypi

But then I get this error:

@mdrobena What is your TestPyPI username? Do you happen to have an Organization application? I think this might be #16439.

@di I think #16439 is it! I indeed have an organization application. I can keep the account open in that case, it's not a problem.
