How to specify extra_requires?

setuptools allows to specify extra_requires. For Material for MkDocs, we want to define additional dependencies, e.g. for image processing, via extra_requires, e.g. mkdocs-material[img]. Can this be achieved with Hatch?

That's been standardized in PEP 621 https://hatch.pypa.io/latest/config/metadata/#optional
