How to configure a type-hinted project?

Mypy has instructions about adding a py.typed file and modifying some setuptools configurations to allow for correct packaging of a type-hinted project.

I was previously using setuptools and setup.cfg for packaging, but am now trying to move to Hatchling and pyproject.toml.

Here's what Mypy says for setuptools:

I couldn't figure out what's the equivalent for Hatchling + pyproject.toml.

The section of my old setup.cfg I haven't transferred yet is the following:

This is supported OOTB as files are just files in Hatch land.
