Multiple import packages in one distribution package

Can hatch help me to create a single distribution package with multiple import packages in it?

I have a demo project using setuptools to achiev this. There are two folders inside the src folder. And in the pyproject.toml there are two package-dir:

bitcli = "src/bitcli"
bitgui = "src/bitgui"

For hatch I couldn't find something similar in the docs.

I really read the docu but I didn't get it. How does this help to have multiple import packages? I assume that only-include and source are not the names of two import packages, right?

This says to only ship the src directory and also to strip src/ from every path

I don't get the difference to packages = ["src/foo"]. But OK. Currently it works. It might become clearer to me in the future while working with hatch a bit more.
