Lottie animations are in fashion, and pwabuilder still does not have the option to upload json or lottie animation codes, it would be nice to add that option.
lottie animations would only work on the splash screen.

For PWA technology itself where is no ways to make animated splash screens. For TWA or iOS wrapper options you could try to implement this in Java and Swift code of the wrappers, but it's something what will be available only from store installation, not from browser ones.
