Small bugs. Firmware 4.9 -> HW 1.5 SHT3C3 is recognized als SHT4x and disabled "low power mode" after flashing/update. #597

With V4.7, the sensor was still correctly recognized as SHTC3/V3 when connecting. After flashing to V4.9, the sensor is reported as SHT4x when connecting.
With “get config” the output is also SHT4c. However, “get sensor settings” works and then correctly reports the SHTC3/V3.
A small error on top of that is that after flash from V4.7 to V4.9 the “low power mode” was deactivated.

This only happened on my HW1.5 devices, but not on HW2.0.
Have a nice day and thank you for your work. :)

This is a bug in the device type string output, which works without parsing the sensor type.
"Get Sensor Settings" cannot specify the wrong sensor type - otherwise the settings will be incorrect.

For SHTC3/V3, "Low power" mode is disabled.
Enabling "Low power" for SHTC3/V3 only reduces the data resolution and makes the diagram noisy. This does not affect consumption.
