Describe the Bug

On agents and the primary server, puppet_enterprise::symlinks creates a broken symlink /usr/local/bin/hiera pointing to the nonexistent file /opt/puppetlabs/bin/hiera.

Expected Behavior

No creation of broken symlinks.

Steps to Reproduce

Run PE 2023.7.0.

Environment

  • Version 2023.7.0
  • Platform Ubuntu 22.04
