Issue details

We don't currently have a way to update dependencies between releases. We should create a nightly release line representing the latest.

Proposal

  • Generate a mutable nightly tag, similar to latest, that tracks the newest nightly release.
  • Generate a tag for each nightly release (nightly-2022-12-09). Garbage collect tags older than some time period (e.g. 1 year).
  • Add a corn job to GitHub Actions to generate and push these images to our image registries.
