Just found the project via StackOverflow link, after ghostscript etc... could not achieve
as efficient compression as "i love pdf" (a website) did, and I wanted to at the least
get the same reduction. Ghostscript somehow failed.
Would it be possible to add a short table, in markdown format, comparing pdfsizeopt
to other variants such as ghostscript? This does not have to be long! Just 1 or 2 .pdf
files, e. g. a small-ish pdf and a more realistic larger pdf. And then compare it with
the best settings each, or some other comparison that is fair. This does not have
to be super-exact, but just to give people a general idea e. g. "pdfsizeopt is on
average about 20% more efficient than ghostscript" or something like that, but
as a table overview, to quickly see it. Thanks for reading this issue request.
