Hello,

I followed the instructions to run winetricks gdiplus, however in BitWig when I click the icon to bring up the Serum interface, nothing happens. BitWig seems to think the interface is open, but I'm not seeing anything.

Is there a better method to bring up any possible output from Serum itself? The Airwave Manager shows me Airwave communications mostly.

I updated to the latest Serum demo today to test, the window now pops up however it doesnt render anything.

-EDIT-

The above is Serum 64 bit, Serum 32 bit still does not show a window frame.

I plan to clone wine 20050930 and apply the recommended patch.

After patching Wine 20050930 and compiling, no VST's would show in BitWig that were bridged by Airwave, even after clearing the BitWig VST index as well as the meta file.

Switching back to a binary package of Wine 2.17 fixed this, but now Serum still doesn't work.

Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

I am having this issue aswell on Debian Jessie and Stretch
When i experimented on this in Jessie, i tried out different versions of 32 and 64 bit gdi plus dlls
and on some point, the 32 bit serum vst gave me an ui.
There i got stuck on another issue, i couldnt register it, because of severe ui flickering issues after pasting the serial.
apart from that it worked at least, altough it wasnt usable.

Try to add an override for the d2d1 library in winecfg, setting it to disabled made xfer plugins to display there.
