add new metrics to vmware_exporter

I was able to utilize vmware_exporter by pyroda, appreciate that. Now, I wanted to get new metrics details if a vm migrates to a new host. Is there a fix for this? can I add this manually? or can someone help ?
When a VM migrates to a new host
Historical data about that VM(if it moved)
We have setup affinity rules on our env, but this level of details will be handy. Thanks
