Moodle 3.0 Geogebra Rendering problem #38
Comments
I was wondering if you had found a solution. |
Hi - Unfortunately no, we still have the problem. Even after upgrading to Moodle 3.4. Are you having a similar issue? |
I am having the same problem. My work around is to have the students
finish and submit the quiz, then reattempt it and just do the questions
that didn't work. That works almost all of the time. I go back and give
them the points. If you are interested, I can give you more details, but
haven't found anything that helps within the specific try. Using the
refresh button in the geogebra app doesn't work and refreshing the page is
also not helpful. Thank you for your reply!

Thanks for the reply. Are you using Adaptable theme? I think there is a possibility that Geogebra and Adaptable have a compatibility issue. I am going to trial a back up site without Adaptable, but if you are not using Adaptable then that kind of negates my suspicions. If you are using Adaptable, I will continue and let you know what I find. I know Geogebra definitely breaks some aspects of Adaptable, partivularly the tiled images on the home page.
Cheers
Jaimie

We also have the same issue. We use Geogebra activity plugin for couple of years. We are now on Moodle 3.7 and sometimes there is a problem rendering Geogebra. It loads part of the interface. refreshing a page sometimes helps but not always. It would be nice to have fully working module again. |
Can anyone provide a ggb file for us to reproduce it? Thanks! |
We are using Moodle 3.0,3, PHP 5.4.45, Linux sg2plcpnl0141.prod.sin2.secureserver.net 2.6.32-673.26.1.lve1.4.30.el6.x86_64 #1 SMP Wed Jun 21 19:37:37 EDT 2017 x86_64, and the appropriate Geogebra question plugin. The problem we are having is difficult to track down as it is intermittent. What happens is: Sometimes (randomly) when a student opens a Geogebra question in a quiz the question appears not to render fully. The student is left with an X and Y axis and that is all. I should add that most of the Geogebra questions we are using have the axis and the grid turned off, and a background image is used to plot over. This has occurred on different student accounts, on different computers. If we have several students attempting a quiz at the same time sometimes the question will render properly for everyone, and sometimes the question may not render for one or two students, and the rest will be fine. To further complicate the issue, it does not happen very often. I can supply screen shots of what the result looks like when the problem occurs.
