How to contribute to the Community Libraries

First of all thanks for this great project, i enjoy it a lot!

Im starting to build my first components and i wonder how to contribute them to community.
I noticed that there is https://api.primo.so/community-library.json where the components are loaded from. Is this a currated list by the dev team or do i miss the share button in the UI?

Glad you like it! And great question. Originally there was a way to contribute to the Community Library, but I had QA/spam concerns so I changed the name to 'Kitchen Sink' and used it as a place to share all the uncategorized components I'd built. I'd love to bring something like that back, but I think it would have to be collaborative to really work well, and that would take more resources than we have at the moment.

If you'd like to share though, I recently created a 'components' channel in the Primo Discord where you could add components by downloading them from Primo and uploading them as JSON files, or just post them here if that's easier 😄

I see the point about QA and the spam problematic. I had some thougths about it, maybe a thrid party "marketplace" would be good a good first shot. Some external page where people can upload, rate and download components. In my opinion this would solve the QA problematic because its not a part of primo, and therefore you do not need to assure the components fulfill your standards.
Nethertheless spam must be handled in some ways and i have some security concerns of importing unchecked components to a site. But a disclaimer "No warranties, please check before importing" should do the job for the start.

We're actually planning on putting up a marketplace in a week or two. The existing components will go there for free & we'll have a specialized component pack for sale and let other creators sell and give away own components. But I'd also like to have a separate space for sharing and collaborating on components similar to CodePen.

Also - do you want to share the components in a new discussion instead of Discord? I think that will be more collaborative. I'll post some of my own too.

I'd love to share and pick components from the community, in the early youtube tutorials you can see some community library and primo library and I was wondering how to find those.
If you use discord maybe you could use a bot to create threads in the components channel so it's more focused on each component, also on git you may create a new category for discussions and after some work on it you can curate those. In any case I think this feature would make primo great.
Maybe this will quickstart the store and possibly help to finance the project, although I know is a lot of work so maybe discord and gh for now?
