h.default.directive is not a function

Describe the bug
When using the package with vitejs and building it for production, in the browser console it shows the h.default.directive is not a function error which breaks the whole app.

To Reproduce
Steps to reproduce the behavior:

1. Go to 'https://stackblitz.com/edit/vue2-vite-polaris-uve5gs'
2. Open the browser console to see the error.

Expected behavior
With npm run build command app should be working
