Hi,

Now as Windows 11 released the Windows Subsystem for Android, I'm using this to easily manage its files, as they're not natively accessible. I'm using a modified version of it, which is rooted.

However, I'm having a problem where root access on this app is not present. Yes, I can access the system folder, but I can't change any of its files there.

Can we have root access for the next updates please?

Unfortunately i'm not a developer so I can't contribute with code, but if someone sees this and can contribute, please do add root access to this app so Magisk would ask me for root privileges when I install and run the app for the first time -- this way I will be able to change the root files too.

Thanks a Ton & Best Regards,
Nick.

I don't have a rooted device to test that on but it should be easy to add all files access.

The problem there is it really needs to be a separate project/branch or done by you as Google will not allow that to be present on the Play Store unless they give permission and they definitely will not here :)

Actually, also again an old target should also do the same I think but also runs into a problem so needs the same thing lol.

I'm willing to accept changes that add special access for rooted devices. But all that will need to be conditional and will indeed not come in a version that is available on the play store.

Xavron is right, on both account. Lowering the android api version solves a lot of problems, but this will not go into the play store.
