I see that in some datasets .tgz files were replaced with .zip files, some of which are >4GB in size.
Support of large zip files is not new, and the ones you have provided I think I am digesting just fine on linux. But e.g. while dealing with crcns archives, I did run into some problems while extracting some large .zip files they were provided, so just wanted to share so you are beware of possible problems and might benefit from additional testing (across platforms) of "extractability" of the .zip files you are providing.
Cheers
